As reported by MarketWatch, "Investors pushed stocks up for the fourth day in a row, sailing into the long weekend on a high note as an encouraging jobs report sent stocks to their best pre-Labor Day week in two decades."
But will the improving jobs numbers be enough to sustain a rally? Could we see the Dow peak above 11,000 points within the next three months, or is it headed back down into below 10,000 territory?
I personally think investors will remain excited about the employment picture during Tuesday's trading session... Plus air traffic miles from American Airlines has reportedly increased; a good sign the economy might be improving.
But longer term, many fears remain: EU fiscal problems, slowing growth in China, rising risk of sovereign default around the world (especially in Europe), etc.
