Blogging; seriously! If you are passionate about something, you should blog part-time. As advertisers knock down your door (once your readership is large), you will start to see the quick money roll in. You can set up a .com and a custom blog in a single afternoon. So do it. Stick to writing about what you know, and what you're most passionate about -- that passion will shine through.
Investing. Of course you can lose big also, so figure out your risk tolerance before you begin trading or investing online somewhere like E*Trade or TD Ameritrade, both of which I have used before and RECOMMEND as long as you know what you're doing and understand the risks fully.
Giving plasma. Half kidding about this one, but hey, if you're super desperate give it a try... as long as they pay you. And don't go to the clinic too often -- you will develop disgusting holes/scars in your arms if you donate plasma too often. This is a one-time last ditch way to make quick money when you really need some extra cash. It should NOT become a regular side income source.
Babysitting. If you're good at watching kids, this one makes a lot of sense. Easy money.
Tutoring. Print out flyers and post them at your local university campus or community college... students always need a good English, math or science teacher. And they're willing to pay, often $20 per hour or more.
