Now that the dust has settled from the CARD Act's passage last month, it may be a great time to sniff around online and find a more competitive credit card offer -- to trade your old and boring card in for something better.
Why should you get a better credit card? If your credit card has lackluster rewards or no longer has that tempting 0% APR promotional rate, why not look for something better?
As far as I'm concerned, a credit card is only good for two things: convenience and rewards (or cash back, as the case may be). The key is to always pay your balance in full each month, before the due date, so that interest charges do not accrue. Then take those free air miles, hotel points, or cash back and enjoy.
Getting a better credit card with hot rewards is only a few clicks away. I would encourage you to peruse some of the recent credit card reviews posted here.
