Looking to switch banks? Switching to a better bank doesn't have to be a 2010 resolution... you can just do it to take advantage of some pretty sweet new bank account promotions floating around. Here are a couple of our faves at the moment.
ING Direct's $50 bonus - This new bank account promo kicks ass. A $50 bonus is automatically deposited into your new checking account on day 50, as long as you "Use your Electric Orange Card to make at least 3 signature-based purchases in the first 45 days after your account has been opened" and follow any other applicable conditions.
SunTrust's $150 bonus - Another wicked cool promo for new banking customers. Get up to $150 with a new checking account as long as you follow all conditions, which includes using their online bill pay a certain number of times.
Chase $125 bonus - Get $125 deposited into your new account after following certain conditions, which include a payroll or other repeated direct deposit into your Chase checking. Love this promotion. To take advantage of it, call a local branch and ask if it is available. You may need to receive a physical brochure in the mail or print out a coupon (offered at select Chase ATMs).
