Here are a few of the credit cards I like right now, as of February 9, 2010. Keep in mind, I make every effort to publish accurate promotional info and terms, but these can and DO change over time -- information on this page or other areas of the site may be outdated depending on when you read the post.
Also, a quick word of warning: I no longer use credit cards. I did for many years, but now only use a rewards debit card because I spend less. Even when using credit responsibly, it can be easy to spend more than you really need to -- on luxury goods you will eventually get bored with.
3 Good Credit Cards:
Citi Dividend Platinum Select Visa Card - 5% cash back on eligible purchases for the first 6 months (2% cash back after that, which is still pretty good)... 0% intro APR for the first 7 months, if you qualify and Citi offers this to you.
BankAmericard Power Rewards Visa Signature Card - You earn triple points in select categories for your first 6 months. 0% intro APR for your first 7 or 10 statement cycles, depending on credit history, what kind of mood the bank is in when you click on 'apply', etc.
Chase Freedom Card - Not as exciting now that the $50 bonus offer seems dead, but still a good credit card. 3% bonus cash back in select categories plus a 0% intro APR for qualified applicants.
