It's on CNBC constantly... I think my face will explode if I see it one more time. I would sign up for a Chase Sapphire card right now if it made that commercial go away.
And it's not even a bad commercial, as far as credit card commercials go. But it's just old and worn out.
Also, if you are sad and feeling pathetic because you aren't making as much money as you want to, take heart, your life could be much worse. You could live in Detroit, where the unemployment rate is at 50% right at the moment. At the height of the Great Depression, it peaked at 25% nationwide. So 50% is very, very high.
Apocalypse, here-come-the-zombies high. I'm glad I don't live in Detroit, or in any former manufacturing town for that matter!
That commercial has been annoying for months but now I'm to the point where I'm shutting the TV off or changing the channel in a fit of panic every time I hear the "doo doo daaa doo" singing in the beginning. Go die in a fire Chase!
